2023 香港黃金百里系列賽 – 45KM 和 8KM：因惡劣天氣而取消的通知

安全始終是我們組織賽事最關心的問題。過去一周，我們一直密切關注天氣變化。我們收到了有關惡劣天氣擔憂的詢問，以及表示願意繼續比賽的表達。我們及時回顧和評估這幾天的天氣變化，希望比賽能順利進行。我們向您保證，所有賽事幕後準備人手、材料物資和檢查點均已準備就緒。

可惜的是，截至2023年10月5日今天下午5時，香港天文台宣布極有可能在明天晚上到週六早上之間的任何時間發出三號颱風訊號。

無奈之下，我們不得不做出取消比賽的決定。

我們會將所有可轉讓物資，包括食物和飲料，都將盡可能捐贈給社會有需要的組織。各位參賽者的後續安排將於下週初公佈。

2023 Golden 100 Series – 45KM & 8KM: Notice of Cancellation due to Bad Weather

Safety is always our paramount concern when organizing any trail running event. Over the past week, we have been closely monitoring the weather changes. We have received queries regarding concerns about bad weather, as well as expressions of willingness to continue the race. We have been timely in reviewing and assessing the weather changes over the last few days, hoping that the race could proceed. We assure you that all helpers, materials, and checkpoints are fully prepared and on standby.

Regrettably, as of 5:00pm today, 5 October 2023, the Hong Kong Observatory has announced that there is a high likelihood of typhoon signal no. 3 being issued anytime between tomorrow evening and Saturday morning.

With great reluctance, we have had to make the decision to cancel the race.

All transferable materials, including food and drinks, will be donated to social service organizations whenever possible. Follow-up arrangements for racers will be announced early next week.
